Marco Benevento has been making waves in the experimental/jam/rock music scene since roughly 1999. As a sideman, he's played with some of the best players out there today including the likes of Dan Auerbach, Trey Anastasio, Matt Chamberlain, Joe Russo, Billy Martin, John Medeski, Mike Gordon, Skerik, Stanton Moore and many many others. As a band leader and composer he has released 7 records to date and is the owner and co-founder of his own label, the Royal Potato Family. As a collaborator he is notorious in being part of some of the baddest bands from his early days with The Benevento Russo Duo to present times playing keys in Joe Russo's Almost Dead, and holds chairs with Garage A Trois, Surprise Me Mr. Davis, Bustle in your Hedgerow and many others. Marco has a sound and personality unique to himself which comes through loud and clear in his music. He is one of my favorites and it was a pleasure to have him on the show. Please enjoy!
